 First of all we are happy to announce that we are planning release of an expansion for Magnum Sal on Essen 2012! And you our dear geeks may be members of our design team! We would like to ask you for an ideas of a new tool card for an expansion.
The author of a winning tool idea will be mentioned in the expansion rulebook and will receive free copy of a base game and expansion with free worldwide shipping. And of course the winning tool will be part of an expansion. So it is unique ability to became a game designer!
The rules of a contest are:
- each participant may send only one tool idea!

. The deadline is 15th January of 2012.
- each application (in english or polish) should contain name of a new tool and detailed rules for it. We also need name of a designer. :)
- We (Marcin and I) will choose the winning idea and inform you about it on BGG before the end of March 31st of 2012.
- Our main criteria will be: how creative and original tool idea is, how well playtested it was and last but not least - how it expands the experience of salt mining in Wieliczka.:)
- Submitting an idea to this contest signifies agreement that the publisher, Gry Leonardo, may use the idea in a game and that the submitter surrenders all ownership and all rights to the idea. |

n the game Mare Balticum each player takes the role of a captain of a fleet of fishing boats. Your task is to catch fish in the choppy waters of the Baltic Sea. Which fish should you try for? The noble salmon, delicious cod, schools of herring, or perhaps the flounders deep in the mud? Or maybe forget about the stinking fish business and focus on collecting beautiful Baltic amber from the water? Whatever decision is taken, captains must also deliver goods to appropriate ports and sell them. Whoever most effectively handles the task and makes a fortune before winter comes and freezes the Baltic waters will be the winner!
